To clearly demonstrate concrete's ongoing contribution to New Zealand's sustainable development the following case studies are presented. 

Each case study displays a range of concrete's properties, such as flood protection, safer roads, durability, fire resistance, reduced maintenance, locally sourced, minimum vibration, seismic reinforcement, thermal mass, sound insulation and recyclability.
